Beginning January 1, Albany Area Schools will welcome two new members to the school board.
Ozzie Carbajal is the father of two children and currently serves as the Chief of Police for the City of Albany. Ozzie has been a police officer for 20 years. Ozzie has been a member of the MN National Guard for the past 22 years where he currently serves as a first sergeant. He enjoys a wide variety of activities and is very excited about the opportunity to serve on the school board.
Ron Paulsen and his wife Sandy have lived in Albany for 21 years and have three children who have all graduated from Albany Area Schools and have gone on to further their education. Ron has been active in the school district his entire time in Albany working closely with the theatre department, Community Education, and Robotics Team. Ron looks forward to building on his past experiences in the district, especially as a former school board member, to help lead Albany Area Schools into the future.
Both Ozzie and Ron are serving four year terms. Welcome!
