Dine in Day
Family and Consumer Science Dine In Day was Saturday December 3rd. Mrs. Young's FACS students were asked to eat a meal at home with those they loved and email a picture to her. Here are a few pictures she received. Last year Governor Mark Dayton proclaimed every December 3rd Family and Consumer Science Day as a way to honor the birthday of Ellen Swallow Richards, the founder of the home economics movement. Remember meal time is the most important part of a child's day; eat together as a family and enjoy the conversation!
